He was nominated less than a month after he was elected and he sure as shit didn't do anything as a senator except vote "present" so why don't you tell me why it is you think he deserves the Nobel over any of the other nominees who actually did something?

He should have respectfully declined it and let it go to someone who actually did something, but his ego...oh that mans ego

 

There's a shit loads of reason why he deserves it. Just because you dont agree with them doesn't mean that he doesn't deserve it. It's up to the Nobel committee to decide that. If he won it and the Nobel Committee agrees then i dont get why hate on him about it.

 

i dont think he deserves it.... but winning it should at least give you, as an american, some pride....

dont see what the problem is with the political poking - i am sure there was plenty political poking at bush during his time. i have to say though, the administration (and from what i noticed some canadians) needs some thicker skin.
