The Windows 7 "Problem Step Recorder" is an awesome piece of functionality.

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/w.../dd320286.aspx

The Problem Steps Recorder in the Windows 7 operating system is a feature that enables users to record their interactions with an application and provide a detailed screen-by-screen view with accompanying information. Learn how the recording can be used to quickly identify problems and help reduce time spent with the help desk.
Launch the app and start the recording process. The application will then record your screens (individual image shots) and chain them together in an output file. Not only do you get the screens, you get text descriptions of what you exactly did.

This is nifty if you're in IT. You can utilize this for user guides, defect recording, usability, etc.

Also, try the Windows Key + left, right, down, or up. This should start docking the active window against the side of the monitor.

Yes. Layering and caking on operating systems isn't the best. You often retain system files that aren't really need, but the upgrade won't delete in the event of an uninstall of the new OS.

If the machine is new, you're eligible for the free 7 upgrade when it's released on the 22nd.
