they're a complete blast in the snow, we use them up in canada and in the Upper Peninsula here in MI in the winters. some of the guys we ride snowmobiles with have cabins that without tracked vehicles you aren't getting in.

picture a F350 powerstroke quad cab buried in 8ft of snow for 5 months h:

we don't know who the idiot was but he tried going where he didnt belong ... we were riding our sleds and rode by it. went up again at the end of the season and it was still in the same spot
