USAA already offers Deposit@Home (scan checks).. but they have an app that allows you to deposit a check via taking a picture! :eek5:

The scanner thing is pretty slick. they should have the cell phone thing for all PDA's....

 

I think an airline is piloting a boarding pass system using phones. They send you email for boarding pass, you get it with your phone and when you get to the airport, they scan your phone thats displaying the barcode. You will. And the company that will bring it to you...ATT.

 

they do a similar thing with concert tickets now too ... they will send it to your phone and you just use that to get in.

the newspaper has a promotion thing going now. Basically in every newspaper copy is this huge barcode, you download some app from their site, use your phone to take a picture of the barcode, upload to program and see if you won a prize.
