Yeah except the Polanski's situation isn't exactly the same as being deceived by a 16 year old.

 

Not only are you supposed to check their ID, but get them to sign a consent and confidentiality agreement, then check the optional oral and anal disclosures.

 

i never knew polanski was the husband of the women who was murdered by the manson cult.

 

In CT the age of consent is 16 or 15 with child endangerment being a year more than that, IIRC. I know this because I dated a girl slightly younger than myself for a while ( I was 19) and checked up. I'd probably stay out of the situation but if it came down to things happening like that in CT I'd find it hard for and attorney to fight the charges. One of douche high school friends was in a similar situation and was ordered for some sort of supervision though I believe he was pretty much free of all wrong doing except for a very wealthy family sticking it to him.
