i can't even get a reference from the job, they don't do them. it would have to be "under the table", if i were to ask for one, but i haven't been there for long enough.
the new place (not geico) said they'd be deciding in a couple weeks, so i'm putting in my two weeks tomorrow, then i'll have a little over a week off before i start at geico, or the second place if they hire me.
my friend put his two weeks in at the restaurant he worked at in boston, the next day they gave him a paycheck for more hours than he would've worked in those two weeks and told him to not come back.

it's the nice thing to do, but there are 100's of other people doing my job anyways, so i figure it won't effect time warner cable as a whole anyways
