Nice tattoo! Looks like much better quality than most I've seen.

For something like this, do you pay the artist an hourly wage or a set wage? I'm clueless when it comes to tattoos.

Thanks. I believe the prices/rates vary by shop and if they charge by piece or by the hour.

The way we handle it depends on the tattoo.. a single piece will be a set price.. if we're doing something that will be multiple sittings or something that will take more then a 3-4 hours you charge by the hourly rate.

Gotcha. I paid $500 for mine and thought it was a good price considering he spent close to 6 hours doing it. I also tipped him well since I'm sure I'll have him do more work in the future.

Nice! I was expecting it to be twice that amount. Again, I'm clueless with tattoos.
