You can't even get in to the bios. Have fun.

You can't even have it boot off of a flash, because... you can't get in to the bios.

Yeah, seriously. I mean, he pretty much deserves what he got if he doesn't see a problem with buying stolen goods. Knowingly paying for stolen goods is actually worse than stealing them yourself, because you are condoning and encouraging such acts that keep criminals in business.

It is? I thought you just forfeit the item and are out the cash. Wasn't aware it was a crime.

I think it is only a crime if you knowingly purchase stolen goods. If you can prove that you didn't know they were stolen then I don't think you'll be charged. You'll still have to give up the goods though.

i think it depends on case by case

i mean you buy a stereo out of a guys van for 200 and it sells for 2k you KNOW its stolen regardless ...

you don't have to have specific knowledge of the crime to be in trouble

is it just me or does the article just end

Then Krop paid $10 to an online service that sold him the address linked to the man's cell phone number. "All this information told me [the man] was living on Miami Beach not far from the scene of the crime."
