i don't know how to do the tusk necklace though. everything else seems pretty easy
If you're going for realism, super sculpey is good. you can get some really accurately shaped ones and paint em. and they're solid. and it's only like 10 bucks for a box of it.
I'd probably use an armature made of aluminum foil just to soak up the bulk of it. As i recall, super sculpey will crack if it's too thick when it's baking. I haven't used any for a while, but I always made big shit that was about 80% wire and foil and 20% sculpey material
