If you're going for realism, super sculpey is good. you can get some really accurately shaped ones and paint em. and they're solid. and it's only like 10 bucks for a box of it.

 

I think I still have a couple boxes of Super Sculpey from college... hope they're still good.

 

I'd probably use an armature made of aluminum foil just to soak up the bulk of it. As i recall, super sculpey will crack if it's too thick when it's baking. I haven't used any for a while, but I always made big shit that was about 80% wire and foil and 20% sculpey material

 

I don't think anyone I know is having a party this year...so nothing.

 

i will be working if i am still at my current job.

if i'm not working, i'll probably decide that day whether or not to dress up.
