Just curious. I mean a true blind date. Someone sets up a formal meeting between you and someone you've never met.

My answer would have to be...kinda. My mom met some lady and her daughter...daughter had just moved here from back east for her job, so we went out to dinner one night. Wasn't really a "date" per se....just meeting a new person.

well, I mean communication other than where/when to meet, etc.

Usually in craigslist ads they talk a bit about themselves... interests, characteristics about them, etc.

I went to a Motocross (or whatever it's called inside) event with some friends. She turned out to be giant bitch though.
