even though i'd have been on title, she doesnt live with me and would be the primary driver.

also asked about if i wanted to add her as a secondary driver to MY car, and he said same thing applies. i dont know, he was a real douche to me. also said 'ill put our conversation in the notes incase you call back with any additional questions, that way the representive can better serve you'.. grr.

You can only insure a car you have a financial interest in, ie, your name on the title.

then you have different rules in your state/company

like stated previously, my first vehicle was in my dads name, nowhere was i on the title but vehicle was insured through my policy, no issues ever even when i had to file a claim.

that's how pretty much everyone i know had their vehicles back in HS, tags under the parents and insurance policy was their responsibility

dunno, but the dude i talked to made it sound like i wanted to committ fraud by loopholing usaa's cheaper rates to a non family member :hs:
