i spilled gasoline on my leather once. left a nasty smell in my car.... until i spilled coca cola on it. no more smell h:

i use griots stuff to clean my leather.

yeah leatherique is pretty good stuff. turned 7year old leather that turned cardboard hard nice and soft and supple again.

i'm not too thrilled with lexol cleaner. maybe im doing it wrong.

maybe i will do the leatherique treatment on the g35

lexol as a cleaner is very tedious. takes a long time to do it right. so does leatherique but lexol can't do what leatherique did (i tried :hs: )

well since i have a full bottle of lexol cleaner, how would you do it?

i was just applying it to one of those circle pad things and warm water.

same but i spray the cleaner on the seat and let it soak in for a while. then with a damp cloth (not terry) clean all the seams first then the rest of the leather in straight lines (doesn't matter which way). just follow the seam for the seams. then the time consuming part. rinse the cloth and make circles until you aren't getting the soapy bubbles anymore. rinse the cloth often and repeat as necessary. make sure the seats don't get too wet!

hmmmm sounds like a plan. thats the thing, i barely saw any soapy bubbles.
