I hope US will not go to war....
i agree but Bush and Rumsfield are hell bent on it so i dont see much chance of avoiding it.... they are two very trigger happy people that see violent resolution as the only solution to anything...

Seems like Iraq is doing everything they are asked to do, and if US will still go to war, I think we will be fighting alone.

I'm with wilsel on this. I dont want to go to war either if it can be avoided but I dont think Saddam is going to stop playing. He keeps lying and says he doesnt have weapons when he does and they have found evidence of chemical weapons. He just keeps playing games with us. Like wilsel said, if he's not going to disarm then we need to go do it for him
Look at the facts. Saddam kicked out UN inspectors years ago. For him to do this, he had a MOTIVATION. Why do you suppose he didn't want inspectors in his country?
The United States has opened up to the public only a mere percentage of the intelligence that we have. They can not tell us everything, or else they would lose their sources.
Think about how much our government knows about the lies Iraq has been pulling on us. HE HAS A REASON to go to war, we simply dont know all of them. I personally have seen enough. Saddam is a MAJOR threat the free world, he must be shut down.
Quite frankly, we must go to war. Any future weapons "Inspections" will not help.

Yeah Iraq is doing everything BUT disarming which was the original intentions of the weapons inspectors. He is playing diplomatic games to by himself more time when it's readily apparent he has WMD, mobile weapons labs and underground labs that facilitate the creation of nerve agents and biological weapons.
We are going to war and there's no doubt about it. If you think Bush sent 150,000-200,000 troops to the middle east for no reason you got another coming. They will let Saddam play his games then they will attack him like no other and sieze all of his oil like Bush has planned all along.

Saddam may have the weapons but Bush and Rumsfield themselves have said that he has no way to deliver them... so lets go worry about that asshole when we have North Korea - a potential immediate threat... we're gonna find out in about 6 months what it means to be spread too thin... troops in afghanistan, Iraq, and then to N.Korea and no UN backing...
anybody wonder why there is discussion about reopening the draft?

1. Sure Saddam is a bad guy. He's done some bad things. But does that justify killing him, denying him his day in court? Not very American, if you ask me!
2. Does not keeping a promise really justify a war? If so, then let's remember the campaign promises that Bush didn't keep.
3. Bush loves to talk about rescuing the poor Iraqi people from Saddam. But what about the American people whose rights are disappearing under Bush's war powers?
Bush is playing a lot of you like a fiddle. And that's sad since he's not too bright himself. Me, I like my freedom, and I'm willing to fight to keep it. I also know better than to buy a $25 Rolex.
