I have a Garmin Nuvi 5000 on the way. I wanted the largest screen Garmin had. It comes in at 5.2" diagonally. Can't wait to use it!

Get something with a 7 inch screen. Despite what anyone tells you they are NOT happy with their 4 inch baby screen.

It's all lies!!

my mom has a garmin (not sure what model) but it does the trick quite nicely. The first few times I drove with it it was so distracting I nearly crashed h:

I used a Garmin Nuvi on my was to N.A.S Lemoore this weekend an it was pretty cool. It gives you points of interest, gas, police and fire stations that are closest to you. It also tells you when you have an exit or a turn coming up. I'm thinking about getting one for the b-day that's coming up in 6 days.

I've used both TomTom and Garmin. I liked the Garmin's interface much better.
