Default genesis coupe track day

So my buddy got us signed up to test drive the new genesis coupe out at the local track. anyone ever do the signup test drives where you get to take the car around the track? how much fun do they let you have with the car? I'm really hoping they let you push it a little at least. should be fun regardless how much they try to tame things down.

Which version of the car do you get to drive? The 2.0T or the 3.8?

That's cool, I'd like to check out one of these track day events. My buddy has had a Genesis 3.8 for a few months now but he still drives like a pansy though.

i was supposed to do one with the local Porsche dealer when the new Boxster S came out in 02. but their insurance wouldn't let people drive it. i had a Porsche at the time too. they had like 25 people there that they let sit in the passenger seat as the owner of the dealer took them around. better then nothing i guess.
