my new every 2 is sept 11, but I'm debating waiting until February and switching carriers. I like my old school slvr, but I'd love a new touch screen.

I have an HTC Tilt that's recently developed a bit of a crack after being dropped a few too many times.

I'm eligible for an early upgrade through my corporate discount with AT&T as of 10/13/09. Hopefully this phone lasts that long, and AT&T gets the HTC Touch Pro 2 by then.

its totally worth holding out till Febuary, thats when a lot of the newer phones come out. Verizon is supposed to get some decent phones, but I'm with you. I want something nice so I might switch to most likely t-mobile.

Verizon should in theory be getting the Pre, Touch Diamond 2 and Touch Pro 2 in the not-too-distant future. Not sure how soon on the HTCs though because VZ tends to lag the other carriers in releasing HTC phones for some reason.

So, if I want a smartphone with slick GPS and WiFi (without needing a crazy data plan, and without Windows Mobile), what should I go with? I was thinking a BB Curve or something. I'd really like a Bold, but those are a little pricey. On AT&T BTW, got a family plan.
