This was a graph that I posted a few years back when I was stationed in San Diego. It is actually very accurate and I did not exaggerate. After joining the marines I found it harder than ever to find poon.

I don't know Marine/Navy regulations on drinking in uniform, but that shit isn't allowed in my branch. If I want to go to a bar, I had best take my uniform (utility or dress) off.

Yeah, you're right. It is fine to wear your blues in public places as long as you're not protesting, drinking heavily, or doing anything else that would give the Marine Corps a bad image. You also cannot wear any medals on your uniform unless you are at a formal event like a wedding or a ball (and I have even heard that it is ok to do so at church). It is important to also make sure that your uniform's condition is up to par too, meaning that you don't have any dirt or stains on your white belt or gloves, everything fits properly, everything is pressed out, clean and neat. There's like a million and one regulations for how to wear the uniform. While I'm convinced that it is not humanly possible to get all of them right, it basically boils down to "When you are representing your Corps and your Country, DO NOT look like a bag of ass."

I rocked that uniform like a boss in my hay-day. But my glory days have long passed h:
