in fact the better the weekend, the more stark the contrast with Monday is

so the key is to have a really really really crappy weekend.

 

Company brought in the presidents and VP's of major banking / healthcare firms (5/3, Comerica, BlueCross BlueShield, etc) into the office today. The tool in charge completely dropped the ball on the 2 day itinerary packets. In the packet was detailed bios of the people attending, product plans / roadmaps, and a welcome letter from the CTO. The tool in charge tried to create something late on Thursday ... and made a monstrosity.

I took the monstrosity and polished the shit out of it. 3/4ths was completely rewritten and all of it was laid out from scratch. 13 straight hours ( no food, no nothing) and it made it to the printers.

This morning, as a "thank you", the CTO gave me Cubs skybox tickets, Sox tickets for Friday, and a "Canopy Financial" Tumi backpack.

The Cubs game is tonight. The Sox game is Friday. :yay:
