You can but I wouldn't. There is actually a slight lag with the HDMI over the component cables. I go component.

Drew and I noticed with sniper rifles that there was a hint of lag in the HDMI vs. Component in Halo 3.

cable lag doesn't make much sense. might be an issue with your tv? :dunno:

I also don't think it was the cables causing the lag.

I switch back and forth between both of them on a daily basis. I use components on my TV (27" analog) and HDMI on my computer monitor (1080p 24" Asus HDMI 2ms). My sniping in H3 is way more accurate with the HDTV due to being able to see headshots better. I've seen no noticable difference with lag between the cables.

Maybe your TV just works better with components. I could see that maybe. You and Drew both have the same 37" Olivia TV right? Maybe that particular set has issues with it.

I don't really know, but I can't personally tell a difference with lag between both.

HAHA

I was just checking Best Buy for the specs on my TV again to make sure...Looked at the screen and the TV dropped $50 in price!! So i call em up and I got the difference back FTW!!!
