Just got my grip in and combined with the Black Rapid Sling, I'm loving this setup.

You should DEFINITELY pick up a battery grip. That and get rid of that crap ass factory neck strap and get a sling.

yep grip was the best thing i got for my XT.

the ergo is better on the 50D so i havent gotten a grip yet.

ergo on the 40d was a ton better too, but it looks and feels like a more balanced setup

Battery grip and hand strap are always my first add ons, I am not a fan of neck straps at all.
