Yeah, similar to people who tell me what I believe when they only thing they know about Mormons is what they've seen from "Big Love" or polygamists living in the deserts of Texas. It's called ignorance, and it's the prevailing force in the US of A.
This is per recommendation of my new boss. She said there is a lot more to do in SLC than Provo, and it won't be much of a "culture shock."
True, but it's going to suck commuting from Provo to SLC and back every day unless you're working non-peak hours. You'll be spending quite a bit more as well with higher rent in SLC and gas for commuting. Unless you plan on going out every night, I'd get a place in Provo or somewhere in Utah county, then take trips up to SLC when you want to go out for the night or what not. Just my opinion.
