shipping usually like this?
so I am checking the tracking number on a package and it seems as if the package came to charlotte...then headed to kentucky...wtf?....all the shipping information is correct as far as the address

Yeah, that's pretty normal. All of the major parcel companies still work on the "hub and spoke" system.
edit: that, and your package was probably sent through the NC railhead, instead of being trucked up the eastcoast..
