Wicked is good, Lion King is AWESOME, Phantom and West Side Story (Some is actually sung in spanish which sucks) are a classic, Avenue Q is a ton of laughing fun, Mary Poppins is surprisingly fun and theatrically beautiful, ...

Try to get tickets at TKTS...though you have to stand in line but tickets can be almost 50% off.

I've never seen the Phantom of the Opera... but seriosuly think about Wicked or even the lion king.

I could get all nerdy on you and explain that there IS techinically a musical just called Phantom.. but I was indeed talking about the "of the Opera" version.

Took my neice to see Mary Poppins.

I went with my best friend for her birthday...I was like...ugh this is going to be dry but left the theatre almost starting to sing. Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious is AMAZING

My friend is starring as one of the main characters in Avenue Q. Definitely should see it as they're ending their Broadway run soon so you better get on it while you can.

 

so bottom line:

The Lion King is a awesome show. the costumes, the stage and the music.

If you want something different go for Wicked

If you want a classic check out Phantom

In any case check for tickets in advance cause i think wicked is still sold out.
