Default IT Gurus version ActiveSync

Gurus,

Is there anyway to transfer e-mails from my Outlook to my phone offline? I can sync wirelessly via bluetooth, but it appears the e-mail option is for the reverse (from phone to PC). I have 4 email accounts on my PC and everytime I sync i'd like to be able to transfer like.. 20 of the newest e-mails from the PC so I can read it offline. It would also be nice to transfer the account settings onto the phone so that I don't have to setup the email addresses again. Is it possible to do this 2-way operation?

Can you just set your phone and computer up as IMAP e-mail as opposed to POP3?

So that the server keeps everything, and your phone and computer grab what they don't have?

I have 5 e-mail addresses and they all have funky e-mail settings, I'm trying to get away without having to input my account information over again. It took me like a day to find all the info and some of it requires IT calls which I'm not interested in doing .

Anyway, IMAP >>>>>> POP3
