Official Can't Wait For The 09-10 NFL Season To Start Thread!!

How are your teams looking?

I'm so excited for the Eagles right now. Improved offensive line, a couple of explosive receivers, and a healthy BWest (we'll see how long that lasts :nervous: ).

I'm excited to see LeSean Mccoy run! The guy was a monster at Pitt. Hopefully he gets a shitton of carries in minicamp and preseason with Westbrook recovering from surgery.

I cannot wait to see how Cutler preforms in a Bears uniform. For once, this is a position that is solidified.

Plaxico will be in blue too.

The saints picked up some key people on D fense, and lets see if Reggie can do right this year :o

I'm excited for fantasy football.

HAN league needs to involve money!

God I hope Orton plays well, Cutler bombs big in Chicago, and that we don't trade Brandon Marshall.

I was originally all for giving McDaniels a fair shake and letting him run things and make it "his team" for at least three seasons before I pronounced judgement of his abilities as a coach. But with the way he's killing off our former star players and making what appear to be bone-headed moves, if he doesn't give us a winning season this year I'll join the chorus that has already started asking for his head to roll.

I am glad he picked up Dawkins from RB's Eagles, though. That should bring some much needed leadership to the D, even if he is getting a little old.

I'm particularly interested to see what the Patriots, Dolphins, and Cardinals are going to do this year. Patriots because they get Brady back, Dolphins to see if they're 10-games-won turnaround was a fluke, and just to see if the Cards can keep alive what they did in the playoffs or if they'll return to their mediocre regular-season form.

Orton will try as hard as he can ... but he's not a game breaker, he's not a difference maker, he's not an impact player.

He will manage the offense, but passes over 10 yards will be rare.

Give us Brandon Marshall. Pleeeasee. I don't think the Dolphins were a fluke. They played consistently well all across the board and picked up some key additions too. I think the Bills and Jets are going to still compete with the Pats and Dolphins again too. AFC East got interesting over the past season :chuckles:
