:facepalm: @ the phoenix thing...

they should have just taken the 'deal' and moved here to canada... a huge portion of the toronto sports fans would jump ship in a heartbeat to pretty much pay for another "local" team .... just look at MLS ... Toronto FC has one of the highest attendance rates amongst other MLS teams and they aren't super-stars..... Toronto Fans want to support somebody other than the Leafs and LOLjays....

Looks like were going to lose Heatly, I guess a 6 year 45 million dollar contract isn't good enough for him.

 

I'm kind of on the fence about the Phoenix situation. I think RIM would make that franchise much better. It's obviously not doing well in Phoenix (no matter how bad the NHL wants to make it work). And agreed, Gretzky needs to fire himself as coach.

Draft is next Fri/Sat, gonna DVR it. It's on VS (round 1 on Friday night).

I think Heatly to NY would be a good trade for both teams.
