go to radio shack and buy one of those universal sockets.

I bought this one from ebay a while back and use it a lot when i travel to Spain. Havent blown anything up yet. Also, if your staying at an American based hotel in europe they have american electrical sockets.

i got mine from Circuit City... oh wait :db:

Try best buy, not sure if they will have a combination one (it has like 5+ configurations), but im sure they have at least at two way converter.

back up all your laptop data if you are taking one, charge up batteries + spares.

where are you going, how long are you staying?

I fly into Berlin, over the Amsterdam, down through Belgium, over to Austria, and then back to Germany. Just a little over two weeks.

I'm heading over there next week.

I picked this up off Amazon:
Amazon.com: Sima SIP-3 Ultimate International Travel Adapter Plug Set: Electronics Amazon.com: Sima SIP-3 Ultimate International Travel Adapter Plug Set: Electronics
I did the free Amazon Prime trial and got free 2 day shipping so it's not bad. Also my electronics are all 100-240V input so I opted against getting a voltage converter.

If i'm not mistaking you should be able to just get a 2 pin adaptor for everywhere you go... most of Europe uses those. Obviously make sure that whatever you're plugging in has a 220/110 converter.

a normal adaptor would probably cost you like a couple of $

i dont understand why you guys keep suggesting these multy adaptors. thei're expensive as fuck and useless for him.

Just check if countries all has 2 round prawns sockets. it's like type E or somethinglike that... if yes a cheap adaptor will be good enough. you could buy 2-3 of them for a fraction of the cost of those multi adaptore so you would be able to charge you phone, computer and camera at the same time.
