I remember taking a Patrol Procedures class when I wanted to be a cop back in another life time. I remember the Captain who taught the class telling us that if you're ever being cornered by a mob, and you know you don't have enough bullets for all, to target the weakest / most 'coveted' member of the mod and target that mf first. It may make the mob back off.
