He makes a valid point or two, but his refusal to recognize the unions' contributions to the demise of GM makes me not give a shit what he has to say.

Yeah, because companies aren't there to make a profit. I'm pretty sure if they could make a car that the market wants, they would have.

Now on the other hand. Forcing them to make certain cars that are "green" that don't sell (the numbers are on the GM investor website) tends to be a bad thing.

In general, you have to sell something people want.

This is America, if someone thinks it will be profitable, they will do it.

The government doing something the private sector should do is completely retarded.

Medicare, yeah, that's not a huge money pit.
The US Post office (can't make ends meet, while the private sector, UPS, Fed Ex, seems well able to)

Can someone tell me what the government runs that is actually successful?

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

"I'm not controlling the company, I just forced them to fire the CEO, and replace him with someone hand picked by me. Oh and also, we will make any major decisions for the company...

But other than that.. the board has control"

not controlling. which they probably are. from what i read. the ceo and company are going to do their business. not the government (which basically is telling car companies anyways what to build with all these new green laws.)

But the car company CEO is hand picked by Obama. He already has control over the company.

You don't think he picked someone he has control over?

I didn't read because I hate him, but the unions had a huge role. The fact that he doesn't recognize this shows what he truly is...an uninformed propagandist.
