Default Boat is almost ready

Working on it today and I think it will be ready for a water test by Tuesday maybe Wednesday...w00t! Can't wait.

Just need to finish wiring up the engine, reattach the hydraulics for the trim and attach the steering. Might get ambitious and get some diamond plate to reinforce the transom before I bolt it all up but we will see if I have the extra pennies to do that.

$600+ a month to dock a boat in Marina Del Rey. What am I still doing in this town?
Hope it goes well, man!

I carry mine on a trailer so $5 launch fee or $35 for a yearly launch pass.

It's only 18' but eventually I am going to sell the house and get a 45'+ sailboat to live on.

I thought out living on a boat if I were single, later on. I don't know if I could sail though. Something with nice living space with a second level and a BBC. o:

There are a few here as well but mostly meant towards drift boats. The closer you get to the ocean the less likely you are going to find free launches for powerboats. It's ok though because $35 a year isn't bad at all considering there is a really good year round fishing season here and lots of camping along the rivers as well.

35$ a year aint bad at all. thats awesome you got year round fishing. i tried ice fishing in the winter. drilling the holes. putting up like 20 of those hook things with the flags. then waiting. just wasnt my thing.

It's a 65 Sabrecraft but I can't find any images of one on the web right now.
It's not pretty but the sole intent on this boat is for fishing and a bit of family cruising.

I actually used to work for a Sea Ray dealer for a couple years out of high school. Always liked their boats.
