Where's the birth certificate?
I think the "proper people" in this instance would be the people that he is serving. Looks like some people have forgotten but this government is suppose to be FOR THE PEOPLE by the people. If he really had one, all the gov't would have to do is show a picture of it taken by the gov't.
This is a simple rehash of every single right-wing talking point about Obama's eligibility to be president, and it's just as far off the mark now as it was before the election. He produced the birth certificate long ago, but of course the Obama-haters refuse to accept it, and what they don't/won't understand is why someone would spend the time, money and energy to run for president and at the same time risk the exposure of something like this, if he really wasn't born in the US.
This is one example of the kind of crap that substitutes for substantive dialog about the condition this country is in. Instead the haters just engage in non-issues like this. No wonder people believe that Rush Limbaugh is the head of the Republican party, because the posted press release could have been lifted intact from a tape of one of his programs. No wonder membership in the GOP is shrinking rapidly, because they spend their time stewing over non-issues like this. The brouhaha over John McCain's birth in the Panama Canal Zone...outside the US but in a US territory at the time of McCain's birth...surfaced and died within a week, but Obama's birth in Hawaii (after it became a state) is still being questioned by those who hate him. If the Democrats had harped on McCain being born outside the US like the Republicans are harping on Obama's birth, the GOP would be sputtering with outrage.
Just like the Democrats who still believe that Al Gore won the 2000 election and had it stolen from him by the Supreme Court: let it freakin' go already.
