i don't borrow money from family. never asked my family for money, not gonna start now
As far as I understand, nothing has changed. 3% downpayment still needed.

someone had told me the requirements one had to meet to qualify for an FHA had changed ... specifically credit scoring and related things.

maybe not :dunno: i havent seen anything looking around online that said that.

Well if you can find anything about the changes then they did, I can't find anything about it. At least not on HUD's website.

No, just a traditional. I have enough for a good down.

Thanks guys.

It is a small place...which is fine because I will be living there alone for the time being...and the lot is big enough to build out if I need to in the future. It is a 3/1, 1100 sq ft, 8000 sq ft lot.
