Probly right, just an optimistic thought.

I'll be back for a few weeks end of June to around mid July. After that most likely heading south to get work in the Gulf of Mexico, or abroad if I get with the right company. So if anyone wants to do a DnB night that could be fun.

Sure. Can you blur out numbers and names though?

Updates = Inspection went through. Most big ticket items I was already aware of. But what came as a surprise were the smaller things that were pointed out. I really had to sit and think about it...honestly I was a bit discouraged. But given my situation and the opportunity, I dont think I would found a house this nice in my price range. And small things are...well...small things I am going to talk with my agent and cousin about the inspection items tomorrow. Still havent heard from the lender yet.

It is the inspectors job to come up with stuff. Even in a meticulously maintained or brand new house, they'll still come up with problems... even if it's a stretch. I can't tell you how many transactions I've had screwed up by alarmist inspectors. Doesn't sound to me like there are any deal-breakers... just take his report with a grain of salt and take it easy

Do you have any handy family members or friends, that is always a plus.
