OK either my wife or my self has picked up a bug on this computer and its driving me nuts. Whenever I open a new window, it automaticly opens another window leading to some spam site. I have tryed to get rid of it but i cant seem to find the source of the problem, i have run programs like ad-aware but even after its completed the issue continues, any suggestions as what i can do?

what kinda laptop? usually hp, sony, etc dont come with cd's anymore, but they have a recovery partition that hold all the info. and there would be a built-in tool to let you in a sense, revert you back to the way it came out of the box.
