they have my local police. listening to chicago police right now and so far we have a burglary in progress, vandalism in progress and a couple arrests for warrants

nifty lil program, they have a free version with like 5 stations including the denver police., check it out

srsly this is kinda fun

so far in the last 15 minutes i've had:

auto accident w/ a fight
couple burglaries
couple dui arrests
someone pulled a gun on a family member
and it's comical listening to them banter back n forth

 

Scanners are always cool

 

werd, i had one back in the day but you had to find the codes and store them ... with this its got them all preset and you just search for the name and it streams and they give you a list of the most common codes

I like listening to my pager/scanner.. might pick up a stationary one sometime.

 

I wish they had it for my city. Still cool though.
