i dont "hate" it, but i never order it and if something comes with it, i'll ask them to take it out if possible. otherwise, if its already there in front of me, ill just eat it.

lol @ lack of culinary finesse but in all seriousness it sounds pretty good 
made something similar a few weeks ago-
saute onions or shallots, better yet both in a pan. Add chunked pancetta (basically italian bacon), add garlic, stir, don't let garlic brown. put in your sauce, stir. add your various herbs (pref. fresh) right before serving, salt to taste though the pancetta should cover it for most. I usually add pepper at points, because I <3 pepper
I'm going to be making this again this weekend and adding some peppers and possibly sliced/roasted chicken breast
