I learned the old fashioned way. "here are your utensils you learn to use them or you are going hungry"

I know people who were taught using the rubber band method which I consider a cheat. I taught both my kids by simply handing them chopsticks and showing them the basic hold, they did the rest themselves...not like they are hard to use at all.

i thought about that too
its for my 3yo niece and her dad doesnt know how to use chopsticks

after some consideration ive decided not to get these

i would go this route - show them how to hold properly give them some quick coaching then off they go trying to feed themselves
