"VIN etching is a countermeasure to motor vehicle theft. It most commonly involves the use of a stencil and glass etching paste to etch a vehicle's vehicle identification number (VIN) onto the windshield and windows."

Saw someone had a sticker on their car. Never heard of it before. Discuss.

On my old Corolla all the windows had the VIN etched in them from the factory.:thinking: Weren't that noticeable until I tinted the car.

when they steal honda's they take everything but the windshield and windows, so it wouldnt matter.
