Default DRM Conversion v free? (already searched)

Can anyone recommend a free way to convert an itunes library over to the new DRM free format? My mother bought a Sony mp3 player and we can't transfer over the "copyrighted" (itunes store) songs.. we can rebuy them all through itunes for $50, but that's a bit rediculous..

search Versiontracker.com There are tools. I don't know what you're using. But don't blame Apple, blame Sony. Sony hates Apple because of a lawsuit they filed and lost miserably.
