What would you do if you found your 16 year old son with a bag of weed?

 

kids are already doing this shiet in jr. high
so i'm expecting this when my kid turns 12

 

id get mad, but i wouldnt kick his ass or anything.

 

discipline then educate, then smoke his shit.

 

Hmmm.... I think I'd be happier to see weed than pills or powder, so I'd make sure to stay chilled.

If it was dried out dirt brick Mex, I'd be sad. If it was super hydro, I'd be concerned, yet impressed.
I'd also want to know where he got it. If the sack was his. Was he slanging that shit......

If he was getting straight A's it's one thing... If his grades were shit, it'd be another.

I'd treat it a tad bit like a sex talk, educating about the effects and consequences, as well as squash the myths and do my best to tell them the truth.

There's a lot of crap that even college kids talk about weed that is just plain wrong, I'd hate to see my kid be one of those people that's going to smoke weed and think it doesn't cause cancer or the like. After talking with them about I'd probably just leave it out in plain sight and leave it up to them to take it or leave it. Really if they got it once they're going to get it again and at that age I'd probably be the one paying for it in the end.

I don't even know why replies like these amuses me so much.

I'd educate him about it. I'd probably try to discourage him only because I think 16 is still young and I'd be afraid of him smoking and driving. If it was a girl I'd be more sever double standards ftl.
