Effectively, If you make defending yourself illegal, only people who don't obey laws will
have guns.

Yeah I got it, just had to clarify it wasn't my intended argument though.

I was going on the subjects given as example because Kings message grew by leaps and bounds after his death in ways it wouldn't have if he had lived. He would have been just another Jackson/Sharpton type and diluted himself in some way.

 

Violence is just a physical form of force. It can be used for evil or good.
