i never heard anyone hate on ariza. the guy makes full effort plays throughout the whole game. and when was the last time someone had such a hugely improved 3-point shot over the span of 1 season? even on teams i despise, i admire athletes who work as hard as ariza does.

Lakers have a very fine tuned machine and everyone works very well together.

 

yeah. but if the lakers don't stick with shannon brown, i think they should pick up a solid veteran ring-searching 2 guard who can contribute when they go small and kobe plays the 3. this is, of course after ariza gets resigned, lamar gets a pay cut, and morrison and vujacic get dropped.

Lots and lots of people up here in Portland hate Ariza. He took that shot at Rudy Fernandez (which I believe to have been wreckless but not intentional) which caused a moderate injury on a breakaway opportunity. On top of that, Ariza involved in severe trash talking of the teammates who stood up for Rudy, calling Brandon Roy a "B*tch Ass N*gga", and other various phrases. Considering he was the one that laid a player out, I would not have expected said language.

Regardless, I am not one to have hate for Ariza, as I have mad respect for his game as well as his situation. I'd take him on my team any day.
