Another buying a car thread =P
so i narrowed it down to 2
2006 Civic Si
http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...standard=false
2005 Subie WRX
http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...standard=false
both have less than 50k miles and cost <$15k
what would you choose?
basically a second car. gonna be parked on the street
needs to fit 2 sets of golf clubs in the trunk
any known issues with these vehicles?
driven the Si and love the gears. still need to get out to test the subie.
learning to the Si for reliability but the WRX for AWD in the chicago winters...
wat cha thinks?

si. the wrx is way faster, but chances of it being thrashed on is higher. plus if something goes wrong with the car, its easier to work on the civic than the wrx.... unless u know how to work on subies.

The only thing about the 8th Gen Civic Si's is there is a 3rd gear issue...but it's covered in the 100k mile warranty (If I'm not mistaken). Other than that, I have an '06 EX and love it.

LEVEL UP
I'd say go with the Si. You can get decent mileage if you drive it right...or so I've heard. :hs:
Still haven't taken my car in for this. I've scheduled many times but something always comes up. Seems that they need the car for more than a day to do the fix.

I would say Si, cheaper in maintance and easy to work on (also less likey to have the shit kicked out of it)... had a buddy that picked up an 03 subie WRX with 30k miles it was leaking oil, need new axels and a clutch..
