Default China discovered America ?

In his recent release book, Gavin Menzies claims America was founded first by China in 1421. Leave some imput and let me know what you guys think.

yeah, there were viking artifacts found there that dated back to the 11th and 12th century.

I just learned about this in my history class at MSU. I didn't really pay attension, but supposadly the Chineese had a HUGE navy and one person sailed to the "New World" and came back with the news. So the Chinese emporer said he didn' t want people going and trying to settle in other places and ordered all records destroyed from this time. Then the ships captain was to be done away with or something. THat is pretty much all I know.

Discovery is not foundation. I don't see any evidence of a Chinese civilization on the N. American continent that predates native cultures.

Maybe the Chinese were good guests and didn't leave their trash and bastard babies everywhere when they left?

Maybe. And maybe there was an advanced culture of flying monkeys...very clean flying monkeys.

I dont doubt it. Chris Columbus was the first to go public with it. Maybe the Chinese didnt.
