Anti-virus, spyware remover, etc.
my comp is running slow and doesnt seem right. what kind of spyware remover, anti-virus, etc. do you guys use and where did you get it from? thanks.

I still like honda's. :-/
I use RegistryBooster 2 to defrag and correct registry problems. It's not freeware, so you may want to look for a cracked version, or something similar.
I don't go to sites that have the chance to give me spyware, so I don't have a problem with that. But there's a lot of good programs out there to help with it.
Spybot Search and Destroy works very well for spyware.
Once you get those done, you should run a diskcheck from windows, and then defrag your hard drives.

Malwarebytes has solved any problems I have had. Prolly the best out there that's free right now.

also tried downloading spybot thru download.com but page will not load .
anybody got any ideas how to get around it?

Try booting into safe mode. Doing that will ensure that the only stuff that runs when you go into windows is necessary system files. Once you do that you can probably download Malwarebytes and install it.
