How do you not have a thermostat? You live in a cave?

i have 2 wall heaters, and they both have manual controls. there's no automation at all, they don't sense the temp. if i want it hotter, i have to open the panel and turn the knob for more gas and more heat. if i want it colder, i turn them down.
