where do they run these around here, gov't camp down would be

20" wheels are spec.
Discs are legal.
Custom or modified frames ae legal as well as full fairing designs.

We were thinking of running Gov Camp down, maybe doing some Zoo bombing with it. There are a ton of routes to be had going from Skyline to PDX as well (probably at least 10 or so we can think of). There are a lot more routes to be had around here as well as a short drive to Detroit Lake to bomb the pass or the drop into Prineville area on the Res., Goldendale Washington has a few hot hills as well and there is a yearly race of GPV's (Gravity Powered Vehicles) held over there.

shit 20"s sound scary to me at speed

ive wanted to do gov't for a long time, never had the balls though, too much traffic ftl
lots of stuff you could do up in detroit area, but not all paved

down here people like to go up marys peak, they close it off for a day each year to play on

as a kid i ran fire roads, parents would drop me off at the top and pick huckleberries while i rode down, they would follow to make sure i didnt kill myself
but between blowing out a rear tire from brake heat, and sliding in gravel/dirt at about 40mph, i kind of gave up on the whole speed thing

disc brakes and not being a dumbass kid sounds like it could be alot more fun, i should throw my slicks and rino bars on my mtb thats too small for me and see what it can do

I've been thinking of taking my beach cruiser to winter park to bomb some fire roads I think my coaster brake would probably only last about a quarter mile tho.

he also used to jump his saab over this grassy hill in his back yard, that was fun, until i learned my corolla didnt have as good of suspension as his car
