I had about a quarter bottle of vodka tonight mixed with grape fanta and I started feeling hot. I went to the bathroom to piss and I realized my face is super red in the entire cheek and along the mandible. I felt my chest was warm so I took off my shirt and my upper chest is red and so is the distal portion of my bicep and tricep on my right arm. My shoulders and collarbone are slightly reddish too.



I know people get a form of rosacea when the drink... but I have NEVER had this happen to me before. Ever. And I have drank alot in the past. It is a new vodka I am trying which is grain distilled, which I have had in the past.





What I am wondering is could this either be:

A: An allergic reaction? (my breathing is normal and there is no itch, just warmth)
B: A food reaction? (I ate Indian for lunch, Vietnamese for dinner, and popcorn for late night snack)
C: Just this vodka? (Sounds improbable, it's a pretty standard formula to make vodka)
D: Something I can't think of that maybe someone else can?







Just as background info I have not done any drugs for over 2 months, no other drastic changes in my habit, and my health has been fine other than a slight cold.


Any ideas? I'm really curious.

 

A. You must have gotten hives.
B. You must have gotten hives from the goat you ate for lunch and dog you ate for dinner.

I have had hives before. I actually had them so bad before that I got them on my throat there was a threat of trachea swelling one time and another where I actually lost pigment for months. Appx %50 of my body was pigmentless before it subsided and I returned to normal skin condition. THis is not hives. There is no swelling, no itching, no irritated skin.




Oh and the herp has been contained to the pelvic region.

















And the ear. I hear (sort of) it's called Earpes. h:

Try taking the remainder of purple drink in an enema, should clear it right up.

 

This. Probably some combination from all the days foods and nights drinks just sent a response in that form.

Rarely, but sometimes, I get the same thing and I don't understand why.

 

Don't worry it's just your liver failing.

this started happening to me a year ago. happens on my face and knuckles. doesn't happen that often though. seems to happen when i drink a lot of liquor though.
