Well i found out about the When not if you go down yesterday
So i hope that is my last wreck to leave the riders that will wreck and join the ones that already have.
Was riding with two of my buddies through town and the truck we were following (i'm leading btw) makes an abrupt turn without his signal to the side of the road to a mail drop off box. I swerve out around him and pull back into the lane, then i hear my buddy on the harley pull up next to me on the left. He starts merging back into the lane so i move over to let him in, or so i thought. My other friend is coming up the right side of me at the same time, so i don't see him slam into him say oh fuck and next thing i know im skidding across the pavement. Now my brand new helmet is all scratched up and broke the nose piece out of it, my riding jacket has holes in the mesh part of it (thank god for the leather and pads tho), and my jeans are ruined. I saw stars when i stood up but looked behind me to make sure i wasn't gonna get ran over. Dude in the truck's wife come out freaking out telling me to sit down and we're going to call an ambulance and shit, i just told her to tell me if my knee was ripped open cuz thats all that hurt at the time. It was just road rash, got some on my hip too, but she says oh its almost to the bone and swollen you won't be able to walk tomorrow. Meanwhile my friend on the harley is arguing with her husband and people are starting to gather around, so we decide to ride down some back streets and hide behind a building for awhile so i can relax. We made it out of town without any trouble, my gf cleaned me up last night, but my neck is hurting a little today just feels like my trap muscles so now her and her mom are flipping out and telling me to go to the hospital.
Should i go get checked out?
cliffs: Wrecked motorcycle yesterday @ about 30mph, got out before cops, neck muscles sore today, should i go to hospital?

That sucks man. And it never hurts to make a trip to the hospital - sometimes it takes a couple of days to really feel the pain after an injury. I was so pumped on adrenaline after I wrote off my bike that I never realised how badly I sprained my ankle till 2 days after. But I was checked out on scene and requested not to go to the hospital. I also had new helmet and jacket, but leathers and padding and a good helmet can save ya. I was glad to pay a few hundred to buy more, knowing I can still fully function and ride again.
i was at an intersection last week, stopped. i look a little to the left where the traffic started to cross in front of me and i saw a guy on a bike standing up. it caught my attention and then i saw him kick the side of a van, sit down and take off through the intersection. the guy in the van leans out his window and looked like he yelled 'asshole' :chuckles:
must've cut him off or something.
must've cut him off or something.
Yeah i kept telling the lady my head is fine my helmet did its job and this other dude that comes running over says yeah well that actress lady who died skiing thought she was fine too then an hour later she's dead.
