Default Tickets Tickets 4,000 just yesterday....

I am with the cops on this one, and I did noticed alottttttt of cops pulling over people and standing all over the road at every light or stop sign.

How many tickets your state gave out?

The NYPD cracked down on drivers talking on cell phones yesterday, issuing approximately 4,000 tickets by the time the evening rush hour began. According to the Post, police typically issue about 500 such tickets on a normal day. $120 a ticket damn

In 2008, nyc made over half a BILLION dollars in parking tickets.
check out this cool map http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2...8_PARKING.html

Last night three parking tickets judge admitted on TV that they are under pressure to have a very low dismissal rate.

You know as well as I do that this money is only added to what they get in taxes and never offsets a need or desire for a tax increase.
Would be nice but not how it works

i know - but at least if they have other means of revenue they can keep taxes a little more stable and not have to increase "as" much

You just wait till they raise the tax to pay for more patrols in order to generate even more money through enforcement of the little chickenshit rules like spitting on the sidewalk or jaywalking. It all starts innocently enough and the encroachments only grow.

those particular chicken shit rules wouldnt get much attention in terms of enforcement - that would mean that they have to keep nyc clean - lol that is never going to happen - they tried to get the jaywalking thing going couple years back but that died.
